LifeScape formed in mid-2014 when Children's Care Hospital & School and South Dakota Achieve joined together. We are an independent, non-profit organization, serving adults and children in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Our center in Rapid City provides therapy and psychological services for children on an outpatient and outreach basis. LifeScape AbleKids in Sioux City provides pediatric therapy.

Our organizational culture, called The LifeScape Way, is based on our vision that all people are valued and respected. The people we support and their families are at the very center of all that we do—based on their wants and needs. We’ve created a graphic to illustrate this – it’s used in training new employees and in meetings with staff, board members, families, and colleagues. It’s a reminder that we each play an equal role in ensuring that we support people well. We have to work together, and if any one of us is off – the whole “wheel” is off. RISE Custom Solutions
Our subsidiary, RISE Custom Solutions, provides orthotic (bracing and splints) and prosthetic (artificial limbs) services, as well as vending, customization, and repair of wheelchairs and other mobility equipment. RISE Custom Solutions serves patients of all ages, and is housed at our outpatient centers in both Sioux Falls and Rapid City.
