Discovery Ultrasound Kent & Sussex is a private ultrasound clinic located in the pretty, historical town of Battle.

We offer a relaxed scan experience, using brand new state-of-the-art equipment to produce amazing scan results, including 3D and 4D images. We believe we are the only clinic in the South East to have the top of the range GE Voluson E8. We offer fertility scans to aid conception and in conjunction with assisted conception. During pregnancy we provide an amazing bonding experience for you and your family so you can share the wonderful experience of seeing your developing baby. We also offer gynaecology and well woman scans ( which looks at the womb, womb lining and ovaries). We see ladies who need fertility scans, and also IVF scans for treatment abroad.

You do not need a referral from your GP for pregnancy scans, although we will keep your GP fully informed of your results if necessary, with your consent.

You will be able to view your scan on a 42” screen, positioned for comfort, and various types of images are available to take home.

We strive for clinical excellence and our highly skilled sonographers aim to provide you with a truly memorable experience. At every scan we perform checks to ensure the baby’s wellbeing, in accordance with the stage of the pregnancy.

It can often feel like a long time until your first hospital scan, between your hospital scans, and from the 20 week scan until the baby is born. Our scans aim to assess the baby’s growth and give you the opportunity to see your baby move, blink and possibly even suck its thumb and for you to see it change and grow (and even see if the baby has hair!)

Research has shown that scanning with this technology can really encourage bonding for both parents, siblings and other family members and also be very reassuring.

We also offer gender scans from around 16 weeks where can try to determine the baby’s sex.
