IMPORTANT COMMUNITY UPDATE REGARDING COVID-19

Dear Owners:

The safety of our owners and our staff continues to be one of our biggest concerns as our winter residents return to the community. As of September 25, 2020, Governor DeSantis has moved to Phase 3 of reopening Florida. While this new order allows restaurants, gyms and other aspects of life to fully reopen, the state and CDC are still recommending we take COVID-19 precautions such as physical distancing, wearing masks, washing hands, etc.

The management office remains closed to the public currently. We continue to have staff routinely driving through and visiting your community to observe and report maintenance or other issues that may arise. If you need to submit anything to the management office, please email or fax those items. If you are unable to email or fax those items, you can mail them or use the drop box at the front door of our office.

Please look to the association website or email communications for information on upcoming board meetings and necessary updates. We will continue doing meetings remotely via Zoom for the foreseeable future.

In regard to common areas and association amenities, we recommend that all owners first consult with their personal physician and the CDC before visiting public areas. While using any association amenities please practice physical distancing, avoid large groups and wash hands thoroughly, especially after contact with commonly touched surfaces. We want to stress to all owners to please take this situation seriously and do your part to minimize the spread of this disease.

Rotonda Meadows/Villas is located in Southwest Florida, near the Intra-Coastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico (see Florida insert) and a short drive from the causeway to Boca Grande on Gasparilla Island.

The Association, a non profit Florida corporation, is the governing body for the Rotonda Meadows and Rotonda Villas subdivisions, a Rotonda community located on the Cape Haze Peninsula in Southwest Florida.

The Association is comprised of over 4,500 property owners, many of whom purchased their lot(s) in the early 1970’s when Rotonda was first developed.

This Association was first activated and turned over to the owners (members) by the Developer, Cape Cave Corporation, in December 2003.
